Dedicated Managed Servers
Our managed servers are ideal for businesses that would rather worry about their day-to-day business activities than keeping their server up to date with the latest software patches etc. With our managed servers, we provide:
- Backups
- We'll configure backups of your data to the extra hard drive within your server, so you won't loose any data should you accidentally delete something*.
- KVMoIP Access
- A dedicated KVMoIP port for your server, so that you may login to it as if you were actually sat in front of it, with a keyboard and mouse plugged in.
- Problem Resolution
- If you have a software issue on your server, then we'll help you diagnose the problem and try and fix it for you.
- Remote Power Cycle
- If your server crashes or needs to be powered down, then you can remotely power cycle it or power it down.
- Software Patches
- We'll make sure that every day, your server has the latest software patches applied to it, to keep the bugs out.

* Although precautions are taken, we cannot guarantee data backups, sometimes it may not be possible to backup a file as it is in use by an application etc. Ultimately it is up to you, the customer to make sure that your data has been backed up.
In addition to the services provided as standard, we can also provide you with a fully managed firewall for your server(s), so that we can filter out traffic before it gets to your server(s), or restrict access to services based to certain network locations. We can even perform traffic shaping, which allows us to control and prioritize different types of network traffic through the firewall and to your server(s).
