Our managed dedicated server hosting is ideal for those who are taking their first steps in to dedicated hosting, or who require dedicated services, but don't want to worry about the technical aspects of running their own servers.
All managed servers come with their primary storage configured with hardware RAID. This provides you with an extra layer of protection against hard disk failure. As standard we run RAID Level 1 - This is where all data written to the hard disk is copied to a second drive, so that should the primary drive fail, the secondary drive takes over. We can also offer RAID Level 5 on request, although due to the way that it works, it requires a minimum of 3 hard drives to function although 4 or more is ideal - Ideally we would configure a RAID5 array with 3 drives for storage and the 4th drive as a hot spare - So that should one of the 3 data drives fail, the hot spare will take over from it. Alternatively, we can configure a RAID Level 5 array to use all 4 drives for data storage. We can also configure RAID Level 10 and larger RAID Level 5 arrays should you require them.

Un-Managed servers are perfect for the experienced system administrator or those that want the maximum control over their hosting that a dedicated server affords them.
Like our managed servers, all un-managed servers come with their primary storage configured with hardware RAID Level 1. This provides you with an extra layer of protection for your data, as with our managed services, we can provide RAID Level 5 as an option to you as well.
All un-managed servers are backed with a 99% network uptime guarantee - Unlike a lot of providers, we put our money where our mouth is, with compensation if we fail to meet our SLA targets, rather than just an empty promise.
